Economist - Tax Consultant, MSc in Applied Accounting & Auditing

He studied at University Of Macedonia (UOM) at the Department of Business Administration, where he graduated in 1986. He holds a postgraduate degree in Applied Accounting and Auditing. He attended specialized seminars in “Financial Statements Analysis” in Germany.

He began his professional career in 1987 and since then he works continuously. He is a co-founder of the company “ORTHOLOGISMOS SA”, which was established in 1989. Today he is its President and CEO

During his professional career he dealt with tax and accounting consultancy, for private and public sector entities, merging and conversion of companies, development studies and project management as a Project Manager.

Since 2001 he has been involved in various working groups that have supported public sector entities to go to the double-entry accounting system.

From 2001 to 2009 he was a member of National Monitoring Committees of European Programs implemented in Greece.

From 1996 to 2004 he worked as Economic & Financial Advisor of the Development Companies Network (HELADA).

Member of the Register of Internal Auditors of the Ministry of Finance.

Member of the Central Administration of the Economic Chamber of Greece (2001-2004). He is elected to the Assembly of Representatives of the Economic Chamber of Greece from 1995 to 2013.

Member of the Scientific Accountants’ Examining Committee- Based of the P.D. 340/9.

Member of the Scientific Committee of the Economic Chamber of Greece who drafted in 2002 the proposal for tax reform.

Member of the Scientific Committee for Support of Local Authorities during the transition to the Double-entry Accounting System.

Editor of articles on tax and general economic issues. Certified Trainer of the Economic Chamber of Greece in the training seminars of accountants on “Taxation and Accounting”.

From April 2004 to October 2009, he served as Secretary General of the Region of Epirus. In 2005 he was awarded by SEGAS for his contribution as Secretary General in Classic Sports. In 2010 he was awarded by the Panhellenic Federation of Blood Donor Volunteer Associations (POSEA) for his contribution to the blood donation movement as an active politician.
